2001 Dannon Duathlon

It was a great day for a Duathlon in N.O. Sunday.
Lafayette was represented well.  Myself, John
Deshotel, Tammy Deshotel, Mark Miller, Guy Sylvester,
Axel Vasquez, Brad Ryder and Blake Morvant all made
the trip.  John was 2nd overall,  Axel was 3rd in his
age group and I was first in mine.  It was the first
Formula One,2-10-2-10-2, Duathlon for all of us.  It
was a real kick too.  Tammy didn't place but Friday
was the 2nd anniversary of her liver transplant and
the fact that she did it was amazing.  Great for
Tammy, great for the sport and great for modern
medicine. The results should be up soon at the site
below.
