Opelousas Duathlon

|
Welcome to the thirteenth annual Opelousas Rotary Sunrise Duathlon.
The design of the course is perfect for the beginner duathlete but yet
challenging for even the more seasoned veteran duathletes. So on March
21 come to historic Opelousas and join us for a day of great duathlon
racing.
The duathlon will start and finish at the Opelousas General Hospital Medical Complex and consist of a 2 mile run, followed by a 16 mile bike and finish with another 2 mile run. The first 2 mile run will meander through scenic Indian Hills Subdivision. The bike route will take you down Prudhomme Lane to the I-49 Service Road going North. The participants will then turn off the service road and eventually get on Hwy. 743. Upon reaching the 8 mile mark the cyclists will then follow the same route back to the transition area. The second 2 mile run will follow the same route as the first 2 mile run. Thank you for your continuing support of the Opelousas Rotary Sunrise Duathlon and may God bless! - Keith Hebert, Race Director
