Kevin Castille of Lafayette won the 5k with a sizzling time of 16:03.  Right behind in second was Brian Smith of New Orleans with a 16:08.  In the ladies division, Sherri Lien of New Orleans was the winner with a 19:00.  New Iberia's Jenna Clement was second with a 21:20.  These four runners and the times they ran make this the fastest Pepper Festival 5k in history.  Age division winners and runners up follow:
