On behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana I would like to thank all of the Run For Kids' Sake participants that braved the weather and came out to Girard Park for our 4th annual 5K and One Mile Walk.
While the weather may have been a race directors nightmare, I think that this year's event was the best yet! Friday's packet pick-up and pasta dinner was so well attended that I can assure you we will be doing it again next year. I will also make sure that I have a time caller at mile 2 next year and another suggestion was to have the medal awards start at "9 and under" which I think is a very good idea. I would like to hear more from you if you would take a minute and let me know how you felt about the event and if you have any suggestions for improvement, please use the form below to send them my way.
